Residents in Blackpool South have a right to feel safe in their own homes and on our streets. As Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, I've seen first-hand how the huge cuts to Lancashire Police and Officer numbers have impacted on our communities.

Anti-social behaviour is all too common, cars being broken into every night, violent and sexual offences on the rise and drug abuse and drug dens becoming a real issue.

 

As your MP, I will build on my successful work as DPCC to increase police officers in our dedicated Task Force targetting criminals and make sure residents see their local bobbies on the beat, engaging in their communities.
