I come from a proud Trade Unionist family and I was even on my first picket line at the age of 2. I have been a strong champion for all our public services here in Blackpool all my life. My family and I rely on the same public services as everyone else here in the town and I’ve seen first-hand in my role as DPCC how investment in them is vital to our health and safety.

I believe we must bring rail, mail, water and energy into public ownership, so they operate in the best interest of the public. As your Member of Parliament, I will continue to defend our public services, vote to re-nationalise and ensure public sector workers get the pay rise they deserve.
