🚐☀️ Beyond the Prom Summer Roadshow – Coming next week to a street near you!

This summer, I’m swapping my desk for your doorstep as the Beyond the Prom Summer Roadshow rolls into every corner of Blackpool South.

From 18th-28th August, while tourists flock to our seafront, I’ll be spending time Beyond the Prom in every neighbourhood – meeting residents, supporting local businesses, visiting charities, exploring green spaces and getting stuck in with community groups.

Why? Because building a better Blackpool means being visible, accessible and ready to take action wherever it’s needed. Whether it’s tackling fly-tipping, supporting regeneration projects, helping residents navigate council services, or celebrating the incredible work of community volunteers, this roadshow is about turning conversations into change.

Over the two weeks, I’ll be joined by local councillors, neighbourhood police officers and our environmental action team – working side-by-side to address issues on the spot. You might also spot me climbing the odd local landmark (hint… not the Tower!), lending a hand in a community garden, enjoying a chippy tea, or raising a glass to our brilliant pubs.
