Beyond the Prom - my summer roadshow

📍 18-29 August | Across Blackpool South

While millions enjoy our iconic promenade this summer, I’ll be heading Beyond the Prom – to meet you, listen to you and take action in every corner of Blackpool South.

From 18-29 August, I’ll be out and about every day as part of my Beyond the Prom Summer Roadshow — walking our streets, visiting local businesses and dropping into community spaces to hear directly from the people who make Blackpool special.

I promised to be the most visible and accessible MP Blackpool has ever had and this is me delivering on that promise.

👮 With support from our new Labour government, every ward now has a named Neighbourhood Officer. I’ll be joined by them on the roadshow so you can get to know who to call if you experience crime or anti-social behaviour – and we’ll be tackling issues head-on together during our walkabouts.

🧹 I’ll also be joined by Blackpool’s Neighbourhood Environmental Action Team (NEAT) — taking action on fly-tipping, graffiti, litter and street maintenance as we go.

🗣️ Your local councillors will be with us too – ready to respond to council-related concerns and help fix problems on the spot.

This is about more than listening – it’s about acting. If we see a problem, we’ll get it sorted. If we hear a concern, we’ll follow it up.

But this roadshow is also a celebration of our incredible communities, our local heroes and the Blackpool spirit that goes far Beyond the Prom.

👇 If you know a community group, business, or local champion we should visit, drop their name below – I’d love to meet them.

👍 Check out the Beyond the Prom Facebook event where I’ll be sharing updates on where I’ll be and when. Come and say hello, raise an issue or just have a chat.

🌞 Let’s make this a summer of connection, community and change Beyond the Prom. I can’t wait to see you out there.
