Blackpool deserves a world-class arena – let’s make it happen!

Our town is on the brink of something big. Blackpool Council is asking residents for their views on how to shape the multi-million-pound redevelopment of the Blackpool Central site – and I believe we have a once-in-a-generation chance to build something truly transformational.

That’s why today I’m launching a petition calling for a state-of-the-art indoor arena to be at the heart of this project.

Imagine it:
🎶 Major music concerts bringing global artists right here to the Fylde Coast.
🎭 Comedy, arts and cultural festivals boosting our year-round visitor numbers.
🏀 Top-level sports events and tournaments inspiring local young people.
🎮 E-sports championships attracting audiences from across the UK and beyond.
🏗 Trade shows and indoor expos bringing in new jobs and investment.

A modern arena would create hundreds of jobs, attract millions in visitor spending and give residents and local businesses the boost we’ve been waiting for. More importantly it would give Blackpool the year-round entertainment hub we need and transform us into a national centre for live events.

Now is the moment to make sure the next stage includes something truly visionary.
